During music class children will have an opportunity to share their love of music amongst each other and explore the beauty in sound. Musical expression increases literacy skills, as well as, serves as another way for children to express and regulate their emotions. Music is offered once a week for all ages.

Library

In our library, a place for families to gather and for children to explore a wide variety of literature. Here they may independently engage or participate in read alouds. Our library supports literature play, where children engage in materials that represent a story. These provocations invite children to use their imagination with the props, while making cognitive connections to literature experiences.

In the Kitchen

At Kid Logic Learning a high value of ours is health and wellness for all children. We know that nutrition is a big factor in brain development, the importance of receiving nutritional foods is extremely high. We offer morning and afternoon snacks that include a fruit or vegetable, a whole grain, and a protein, along with organic whole and 1% milk. Ms. Erin plans our monthly snack schedule, and works intentionally to prepare exciting, healthy, nutritional foods to offer children.

Ms. Erin invites classrooms into the kitchen for a cooking experience. Where children engage in helping to prep and prepare snacks for our school, or create a new recipe together that supports that class’s current learning interest.

We welcome whole foods, organic fruit and vegetables, and compostable serving items, as donations for our snack program.
